A Theater on Screen presentation of Nicholas Hytner's production, winner of 3 Olivier Awards including Best Play, which transferred to Broadway and earned John Lithgow the Tony for Lead Actor. In the summer of 1983, as The Witches is about to come out, Roald Dahl faces outrage over his explicitly antisemitic article and must decide over one afternoon whether to apologize publicly. Lithgow stars as Dahl with Aya Cash, Elliot Levey and Rachael Stirling.
