Montgomery Friends of Open Space lead a guided walk through the Montgomery Arboretum of Native Flora, meeting at 2 p.m. at the map sign in the southern parking lot of Montgomery Veterans Park. Some of the arboretum’s founders are expected to talk about its development over the past 30 years, with local environmental groups on hand. The paved, relatively flat route is about 1.25 miles and takes about 40 minutes.
