Coinciding with the 250th anniversary of the nation’s founding, this exhibition of works on paper from the past century asks how ideas of “Americanness” have been imposed, argued over, and redefined. Taking its title from a print by Native American artist Jaune Quick-to-See Smith, it includes many works about protest, resistance, and civic engagement. On view through November 8; free.
