The 74th annual Christmas Day reenactment marks the 250th anniversary of Washington’s Christmas Night crossing of the Delaware: several hundred reenactors in Continental dress gather by the river, hear General Washington address the troops and board replica Durham boats for New Jersey, with the crossing around 1 pm. Admission is free, but advance registration is required in 2026 because larger-than-normal crowds are expected.
